Overview

The MOE Kindergarten learning environment is designed with the child in mind. The classroom provides space for children to interact with one another and allows them to transit seamlessly from one activity to the next. Learning resources are placed within easy reach of the children to encourage exploration and discovery.

Besides creating inviting indoor spaces to support teaching and learning, we have also designed outdoor spaces to excite and engage children.

Indoor Environment

A bright and spacious MOE Kindergarten classroom with child-sized tables and chairs, learning corners, interactive whiteboards and large windows that create a welcoming and engaging learning environment.

Classroom

Children participate in gross motor activities in a spacious indoor learning area, using a colourful play tunnel to develop coordination, confidence and teamwork in a safe environment.

Music Room

A clean, child-friendly washroom with low sinks, mirrors, hand soap dispensers and child-sized toilet cubicles, designed to support children's independence, hygiene and daily self-care routines.

Outdoor Environment

A colourful outdoor playground with rope climbing structures and balancing equipment on a safety surface, providing children with opportunities to develop balance, coordination, strength and confidence through active play.

A lush sensory garden with a winding stone pathway, trees and a variety of plants, providing children with opportunities to explore nature, observe living things and engage their senses in a peaceful outdoor environment.

Sensory Garden

A sheltered wooden pavilion surrounded by mature trees and greenery, offering a calm outdoor space for nature exploration, storytelling, group discussions and quiet reflection.

Sensory Garden

A spacious artificial turf field with marked play areas, providing children with opportunities to participate in outdoor games, sports and physical activities that promote teamwork and gross motor development.

Children ride tricycles and participate in outdoor play on a spacious multi-purpose court, developing balance, coordination, spatial awareness and confidence through active movement.

Basketball Court

Children explore creative play in a spacious outdoor expressive art area using loose parts and open-ended materials, encouraging imagination, collaboration and problem-solving.

Expressive Art Area

An outdoor water and sand play area with channels, pumps and textured surfaces, allowing children to investigate water flow, build, experiment and develop sensory, scientific and collaborative skills.
